About Ordering

We strongly advise you order framed, matted and glazed pieces.  We have found people who order framed, matted, glazed pieces directly from us save money (even over a 50% off framing coupon at a popular art chain store.)  They are also more likely to get the art on the wall instead of it sitting in a corner waiting to be damaged.

When you look at the art on this site, click on the image to go to the ordering page.  You will be presented with a recommended configuration.  You’re welcome to make changes (click on the “customize” option).  Also, below that, you will find other media options.  Select what is best for your home or office.

As to size, keep in mind the size and arrangement of furniture.  For example, hanging a framed print over a couch looks best if the print is at least 30 inches wide.  A larger couch may justify a larger print like a 40-60″ wide print.  Another example would be over a fireplace mantel.  In that case, you might want something around the size of the fireplace opening to balance the room.

Glazing is the glass placed over the print.  We recommend matting AND glazing.  Matting will keep the glass from touching the print, and the glass will protect the print from dust, mold, and moisture, as well as UV protection against fading.
